Haircut Day

It was nice to wake up and know that we have a house deal in the works. This way we can focus on other things that need to get done. First of all, the boys needed haircuts and we had laundry to wash. We drove into town and went to the laundromat first. Once Hannah and I were settled with the laundry, Steve and Stevie drove to a barber shop nearby. The lady who worked at the laundromat recommended one and that is where they went. Ms Debbie did a good job cutting their hair. Stevie was excited to get some hair gel in his. Steve said that she was really nice and spent time talking to Stevie. Stevie introduced himself to her and shook her hand. He is such a little gentleman.
We also made a quick stop at Walmart for a couple of things like hangers and filing crates. When we got home, I cooked supper and Steve played with the kids. After dinner, we went back outside to play. Stevie rode his bicycle some more.
We saw a fruit and vegetable stand on the way to town that advertised canning tomatoes. We stopped there on the way home and I bought two large boxes of beautiful, ripe tomatoes - 50 lbs, $10 (it is not a typo, it is 20 cents a pound). We will get our canners from the trailer tomorrow and can the tomatoes.
Steve spoke to Bob (the owner of the home on Estep Hollow Road) and we made arrangements to come over tomorrow to do a little home inspection. The houses are immaculate and we just want to check a few things - heat, air, water, etc.
It is exciting to be working on other things like starting out our businesses, joining a local homeschooling group or looking for dance classes for Hannah and tumbling classes for Stevie.
