Tomatoes with a little bit of history

Today was a productive day. I started canning tomatoes after breakfast while the kids played. Steve made tuna salad sandwiches for lunch and then he took the kids to Best Buy and Sycamore Shoals State Park. The park has hiking trails, picnic area and a historical museum. While Steve was taking pictures of the texts on display (so that he could read them later at home) he met Martha. Martha is 83 years old and has been looking for someone to type up the text that Steve has been taking pictures of. Martha called Steve later that day and hired him for $50 to do the typing. So this is Steve's first job in Tennessee - not what we expected but sometimes you just need to go with the flow.
