Kat Takes the Lead

Friday morning and Kat is on a mission.  She is determined to get her Tennessee Driver's License and get her car registered here before her birthday on November 1st.  The usual routine kicks off first,  the kids attack us in our bed, lots of wrestling, kisses and hugs, breakfast and get ready to go somewhere.  We go to the local Drivers License office and Kat goes in to trade her Florida license in for a brand new Tennessee license.  While inside, Stevie, Hannah and I walk next door to a Tractor Supply Company where I have to continually resist buying all of the wonderful guy stuff that is everywhere.  Stevie and Hannah had a blast locking themselves inside of some large animal pens and then escaping by unlocking the latches.  Kat comes out of the Drivers License Office with her brand new Tennessee Drivers License; mission accomplished.
Later that evening we celebrated by eating at our favorite restaurant "The Ole Barn".  The food and service was great as usual.  We met a few more nice people, the state is loaded with them.  It reminds me a lot of how Florida use to be before Disney and the tourist boom.  We are going to bed early tonight because we are meeting some new friends that Kat met on a home schooling site.  Darin and Kelly adopted their 5 year old son Alex from Russia before Putin pitched his tantrum and disallowed anymore foreign adoptions. No photos today.  More to follow....
